Everything was 10/10 for taste and presentation. The vibe is great too. Chill, cozy, and sophisticated. We came back twice on our trip we loved it so much!
A wonderful place in a lively and safe area of Rio de Janeiro. It has a special charm, excellent service, and fast serving of dishes. Particularly pleasing is the fact that the restaurant serves exclusively vegetarian food and signature drinks! Special thanks to the waiter Andrey, he speaks English and Spanish! The place deserves attention and is on the Michelin list, thank you very much for the great goat cheese, interesting cocktails and cozy atmosphere!
Whether you’re vegetarian or not- this food is excellent! My boyfriend said it was his favorite meal in Rio and he was very skeptical lol. The service was also really wonderful. I highly recommend!
10’s across the board. They’re open late. The food is fresh. Tasty. The staff is warm, knowledgable and very attentive. Bonus: all staff I encountered could speak English. This courtyard outside is serene and chic, but lively. Very romantic if you are looking for a wonderful date spot. Also fantastic for dining solo.
The food was delicious. We had: Ricotta with carrots Baked potato (batata asada) - so flavourful! Thai curry Avocado, cashew, and corn tortilla The iced hibiscus tea too was balanced, not sweet or too sweet - would drink this again. For a cocktail, the Fitzgerald was good too - again well-balanced
Great value & exceptional food!! Every aspect of this restaurant hit the spot. Colonial style building with a modern twist interior design. Lights, music, service and most importantly, food were all 10/10. Perfect for date night, solo dining or make use of the group table situated perfectly in the middle of the restaurant floor! Looking forward to returning.
We had the most wonderful lunch at Brota! Every dish was balanced and delicious, and the staff were so attentive.
Absolutely wonderful & delicious experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming & helpful even to me as an English speaker. Delicious food. The vegetarian Feijoada was the highlight for me.
